We are so insanely excited to announce that we’re headed to Austin, TX to play SXSW 2013! We currently have two shows lined up with a few more in the works but here is all the information so far:
In other news, we’re ridiculously stoked to be part of the Rock N’ Roll Rumble Class of 2013! This April we’ll go head to head with 23 of Boston’s finest bands at TT the Bear’s Place in one of the longest running Boston rock traditions. More information on the preliminary rounds to come soon, in the mean time you pick up your 9-Night Rumble Passes here.
We’re really pumped to be the special guests tomorrow night on Boston Emissions! Anngelle was one of the first people to spin a TFE song on the radio so this is really exciting for us. You can tune in to 100.7 FM if you are local to the Boston area or for everyone else out there you can stream it online here.
We are super-excited to have performed in this year’s CMJ Music Marathon. Huge thanks to Berklee College of Music for inviting us to play and to QRO Magazine for coming to the show to photograph our performance. What an amazing weekend!
After a quick stop over at Mama Nero’s house in Connecticut for a good night’s sleep and amazing home cooked meals, we were off to NYC!! We picked up ourCMJArtistbadges, and embarked on an interesting quest for parking (our van is big). Then we made our way to the Bowery Electric to catch the Outlaw Roadshow, presented by Ryan’s Smashing Life. It was a fantastic collection of awesome Boston artists. We were especially excited to catch our good friends Mellow Bravo, who absolutely rocked the room. We caught a few sets before trekking over to Chinatown to grab the van. Soon after, we arrived at 92Y Tribeca for our CMJ showcase, presented by Berklee College of Music. It was a fantastic show: there was a great crowd, a nice bar, and a stellar bill full of awesome bands (Golden Bloom, Bent Knee, Gina’s Picture Show, and more). QRO Mag came out to catch our set and they captured some awesome moments on film. Check out the shots!
Just a quick update while I sit at Mama Nero’s (Nick’s Mom) kitchen table as she cooks the most delicious smelling pancake breakfast for us vagabonds. Today we play the 2012 CMJ Music Marathon in New York City! We would not be more pumped about this opportunity. You can get all the details on our showcase here, which is FREE to Berklee Alumni, CMJ Badge Holders and $10 for the general public. Things kick off at 6:30PM and we’re up first so get there early! In the meantime…here is a picture of some wild turkeys I took this morning.
